Philosophy

We are both teachers with extensive experience working with students of many ages and backgrounds, from 5-year-olds having their first lesson, to high-schoolers getting ready to apply for conservatory, to college undergraduates, to adult learners. We strive to understand the individual goals of each student and create a curriculum that will best put them on the path toward achieving those goals. We are familiar with a wide array of repertoire and work to find pieces that each student can both learn from and also love to play.
